French Gastronomy

A Tasty Heritage

My dear readers,

You know as well as I do that French Gastronomy can be compared to an Art, the Art of the Table.

France has a real cult of dishes and cooking. Great chefs think of themselves as artists comparing their culinary prowess to works of art for the palate.

In France, eating is considered a ritual of happiness. Meals are usually shared around a large table with friends or family.

The French love to go to the restaurant to discover new flavors.

We must admit, my dear readers, that French cuisine has serious assets. From slow-cooked dishes by the fire, to bistro recipes to the stoves of the greatest chefs, French cuisine is renowned all over the world.

Did you know that French Gastronomy is a World Heritage Site?

The UNESCO experts felt that the French gastronomic meal with its rituals and presentation fulfilled the conditions for joining the World Heritage List!

Atypical Restaurant

We like to go to Parisian restaurants with Elena but we especially like the cuisine of the south.

One of our favourite restaurants is in Bordeaux and more specifically in the hotel Le Burdigala. Regional cuisine is made from the finest local products such as sturgeon and caviar from Teich, or pork from Cambes. The menu, regularly renewed throughout the seasons, offers a changing and mastered cuisine.

I would like to share with you a pleasant discovery that we made recently in Paris. This is the Bustronome, a restaurant like no other!

The Bustonome is a double-decker bus that invites you to an original culinary experience. With its fully glazed roof, it allows you to discover Paris differently. He travels the center of Paris and enable you to discover the best views of Paris while enjoying the best of French Gastronomy.

Thanks to its 360 ° panoramic terrace, we have benefited from an exceptional view. I rediscovered the city of Paris, its squares, its avenues, its monuments.

We have tasted six dishes that were original while remaining tasty. The products were fresh and seasonal! A real gourmet trip was offered to us! Reconcile a visit of Paris with a restaurant is an excellent experience that I recommend!

The staff is very caring, very attentive to the wishes of each. Visit Paris at night, while enjoying delicious French cuisine is a unique moment. Everything was perfect and we even forgot for a moment that we were on a bus.

The carefully chosen musical atmosphere has contributed to our feeling of well-being. In addition, a magnetic card has allowed us to learn many anecdotes about the famous monuments of Paris!

From Etoile to Trocadero, via Concorde, Opera or Saint-Michel, the Bustronome is an "Haute-Couture" experience that you will not forget !

See you soon!
