A castle, a history
Dear readers,
I attach great importance to present you artists that have marked the history and have inspired me. It is very important to me to pay tribute to them and to honour their memories.
Without those persons, world will be very different and surely less developed.
Otherwise, my particular affection for buildings and their conceptions allows me to talk about it with enthusiasm and control.
Near Paris, in the city of Nemours, there is a castle listed as historic monument. It is a fortress build in the 12th century and which became a Castle-Museum, grouping mostly Beaux-Arts collections since 1903.
It is letting the beautiful part of art, by gathering 20 000 pieces about graphical art. So we can see photographs, painting and sculptures.
The man and the exhibition
From march 11th to November 26th, in 2017, in this castle take place the exhibition “Masculine form, masterpieces of the Castle-Museum collections”. It is an exhibition of 120 pieces: painting, sculptures, drawing, print and photographs, masculine representations, dated between 1850 and 1914.
It is about various thematic: historical, biblical and mythological figures; portraits; writers, actors, soldiers, musicians and artists representations.
In order to highlight unequivocal artists, an investigative work is realised on the museum collection to take the best pieces to show.
For that, the Castle director use of experts in sculpture and painting renovation to ensure the best presentation.
Dear readers, the man comes down from the dream and if he dreams, he is invincible. “When he knows his duty, he became a God for the man that he will dazzle and guide on his way.”
