The Institut Suédois

PARIS, A CITY OF CULTURE

I am a person of curious nature, I like to discover new things. Awakening my mind on a daily basis is very important to me. Paris is the perfect city to satisfy my curiosity, that's why I'm so attached to it. Between museums, parks and exhibitions, the City of Light has a diversity that is unique and make it the international capital of culture. A place of scholarship not to be missed in which learning is permanent.

As you know, I like to stroll around Paris according to my desires. I love to get lost in the capital and discover unusual places, such as the Mouzaïa district or the Museum of Romantic Life. It was last weekend while I was walking in the Marais that I discovered the Institut Suédois, a cultural and atypical place that I will present to you.

A UNIQUE SETTING

In the heart of the Marais, a very touristy district and popular with many Parisians, hides a small haven of peace at the end of a beautiful garden, the Institut Suédois of Paris. Located in a magnificent private building bought by the Swedish State in 1965, you will discover a unique place. Calm and restful, you will love it. The aim of this institute is to promote Swedish culture beyond its borders and for sure this bet is won.

From the very first steps in the garden, you will be delighted by the charm and beauty it exudes. Once you enter in the building, you can enjoy lot of activities, from permanent museum, temporary exhibitions and learning Swedish literature and language, you will live a fabulous afternoon in a unique setting. The most of the institute, a café with a terrace where peace and serenity reign, a real luxury in the heart of Paris. I therefore recommend this atypical address, which is part of the cultural diversity of Paris, and which will bring you to Sweden for an afternoon in Paris.
