L’ARC DE TRIOMPHE, WRAPPED

THE MONNA LISA LOVES THE ARC DE TRIOMPHE

This year, for 16 days, Paris pays tribute to the artist Christo by implementing the project that the American artist had in mind since 1962; to wrap the Arc de Triomphe. One year after Christo's death, his work will see the light of day from September 18 to October 3.

For the occasion, the Arc de Triomphe will be accessible as usual, the particularity of the event being to be able to stroll on the terrace of the monument covered with a silver canvas with bluish reflections and surrounded by red rope.

THE MONNA LISA SUGGESTS YOU

On the program, a day full of visits to fill up on art and exhibitions!

To start the day, we invite you to walk up the sublime avenue of the Champs-Élysées, just a few steps from the hotel. From the most beautiful avenue in the world, discover the Arc de Triomphe wrapped in 25,000 m2 of recyclable fabric and 3 km of red rope. For a breathtaking view of the city of love, you can climb the steps of this emblem of Paris.

Want a gourmet break on the famous avenue? The restaurant Mun welcomes you for a culinary journey to Asia. From the terrace, taste sashimi, tataki or yakitori with a breathtaking view from the Place de la Concorde to the Place de l'Étoile.

Until then, we remain available for the organization of your Parisian escapades.
